The Opportunity The Part-time Retail Associate performs management-assigned duties, which may include but may not be limited to, stocking and maintaining a store section, carry-out services and store cleaning.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned or required:
Maintain a store section as assigned and stock merchandise using proper equipment (excluding power/heavy equipment).
Assure proper pricing on merchandise, check product date codes to validate proper rotation, stock shelves, end displays, floor stacks, displays and refrigerated/frozen cases.
Prepare perishable products for sale as needed.
Set up advertising/promotional displays.
Clean and maintain sanitation standards in all interior and exterior areas of store and parking lot as directed by store management.
Offer friendly, knowledgeable, efficient and courteous assistance to customers by providing them with current store and product information.
When requested, load customer purchases by assisting customers to their vehicles.
Perform basic bookkeeping duties, including recording lost/damaged goods and store supplies using appropriate tools.
