Salesperson
– Entry‑level position supporting our DIY business. Works part‑time or full‑time. Fleet safety certification preferred.
Store Driver
– Entry‑level role delivering parts to commercial customers. Works part‑time or full‑time. Must be fleet safety certified.
Primary Responsibilities – Salesperson
Provide an excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
Achieve personal sales goals and help the store reach its sales objectives.
Perform DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
Maintain store product and operational standards.
Manage inventory processes such as truck put‑away, shoot‑outs, cycle counts, and back‑stocking.
Secondary Responsibilities – Salesperson
Maintain store cleanliness (floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, parking lot).
Handle general stocking tasks, including truck stocking and back‑stocking.
Safely deliver parts to customers as required.
Primary Responsibilities – Store Driver
Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
Pick and stage parts for customer orders.
Pick up returns and cores.
Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers.
Collect daily credit accounts.
Secondary Responsibilities – Store Driver
Maintain store cleanliness (floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, parking lot).
Perform general stocking, including truck stocking and back‑stocking.
Success Factors (Applicable to Both Roles)
Basic driving and navigation ability.
Ability to use the delivery board system.
Friendly communication skills.
Ability to locate and stock parts efficiently.
Safety knowledge and skills.
Proficiency in operating inventory systems and store equipment.
Parts and automotive system knowledge.
Operation of POS and parts lookup systems.
Expertise with testing and diagnostic equipment for DIY services.
Essential Job Skills – Salesperson
Speak and write in English; Spanish is a plus. Build strong relationships with customers, peers, and management.
Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals.
Use basic math accurately: add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Work an assortment of days, evenings, and weekends as needed.

Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals.

Prior Experience – Salesperson
2–3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment, providing superior customer experiences.
Prior Experience – Store Driver
Automotive parts experience is preferred.
Certificates, licenses, registrations relevant to the role.
Must have a valid driver's license and be fleet safety certified.
Physical Demands The role requires walking or standing for the majority of the day, speaking, hearing, and using hands and fingers to handle or feel objects. Frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds, occasionally up to 100 pounds. Requires sight, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment Work is usually inside but occasionally outside, exposed to weather conditions while performing tasks such as installing batteries and wiper blades. May encounter moving mechanical parts, high or precarious places, toxic or caustic chemicals, electrical shock, explosives, and vibration. Noise level is usually moderate.
