Job Description Baker|McGuire is one of the oldest and largest multi‑line showrooms in the United States, featuring transitional, formal, and contemporary furniture alongside decorative accessories. We are currently looking to add a Sales Assistant to our team.
Responsibilities
Greeting guests upon arrival to the showroom and learning their motivation for their visit.
Presenting and discussing various home furnishings product options based upon the prospective clients’ lifestyle, needs, and goals.
Assisting with marketing, new sales, and special events.
Providing the sales team with administrative assistance when necessary.
Increasing personal knowledge of products, sales techniques, and promotions through continuous professional training and development.
Qualifications & Skills
Two years of administrative experience or a customer service background.
Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office; database experience preferred, Oracle highly desirable.
Demonstrated organizational skills and outstanding customer service.
Strong organizational skills, self‑motivated, detail oriented, and a genuine love of helping others.
Ability to flex between a high volume of competing priorities and a high degree of curiosity coupled with a drive to achieve aggressive goals.
