Overview As an Energy Pro, you will work within your local retailer, engage customers about NRG electricity and gas, help them lower energy costs, uncover consumer desires, overcome objections, foster professional relationships, politely offer solutions, and collaborate with your team to achieve goals.

Job Description
Sell products and services in a retail store, kiosk, and/or event environment
Maintain professional interaction with customers and colleagues
Meet or exceed personal sales goals each month
Welcome customers and offer assistance
Guide customers to displays, assess needs, and suggest suitable products
Provide product and service information
Build customer confidence to aid selection
Document and report sales accurately
Contribute to team effort by achieving related results as needed
Track and communicate all activity to Retail Operations
Keep workstation/kiosk clean, organized, and presentable at all times
Submit all paperwork completely and accurately
No door‑to‑door, cold calling, or telemarketing
Performance Measurements
Regular and prompt attendance
Meet established monthly/weekly sales quota and goals
Customer/client satisfaction based on rejection percentage and substantiated complaints
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
Six (6) months of prior sales, retail, telecom or marketing experience
Demonstrated knowledge of products and services
Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and problem‑solving skills
Impeccable integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction
Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced, team environment
Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Ability to maintain customer confidentiality
