Overview
Sales Associate (Part-Time) – Burlingame. The Sales Associate works to achieve store sales goals by delivering the Alo experience and Brand Mission through genuine connection, product education and community storytelling. They are an expert in product knowledge and thrive in a team environment that values feedback and excellence. Role Objective
The Sales Associate creates an authentic, organic experience of excellence for every guest, educating customers about our community and culture. This role focuses on features, benefits, fabric, usage, design and care of products, while supporting store leadership and Alo goals. Key Job Responsibilities
Impact the business and store environment positively in alignment with store leadership and company goals. Drive and exceed sales goals by leading Alo’s Flow initiatives and optimizing productivity. Engage customers and provide a friendly, easy-to-shop environment; build ongoing client relationships daily. Analyze reports with leadership to strategize and deliver results; support action plans and identify growth opportunities. Ensure effective sales floor coverage and lead selling initiatives as needed. Know store goals, initiatives, new product launches and other information required by Store Leadership; educate guests on guest-facing initiatives. Explain all facets of the Alo business model (Retail, Yoga, Café) through personal testimony and knowledge. Leverage company tools, incentives and strategies to meet store goals; resolve client needs quickly and effectively. Educate guests and staff on our product, community and culture. Understand and protect the daily schedule to prioritize business strategy with Store Leadership. Assist in processing shipments and ensure product flow, including visual merchandising and replenishment. Follow front and back-of-house procedures per Policy & Procedures. Maintain constant movement in and around the store; when not assisting guests, perform other tasks to keep the store clean, safe and efficient. Qualifications
Preferred 1+ years of experience in a client-centric, sales environment. Passion for customer service and delivering exceptional experiences. Alignment with Alo Guiding Principles; self-motivated with a desire to achieve results, individually and as a team. Ability to move constantly in all areas of the store; ability to lift up to 50 pounds; ability to lift, bend, kneel, climb and twist; ability to stand and move for an entire shift. Schedule
Part-Time non-exempt associates are expected to work up to 30 hours per week, with a minimum shift of 4 hours. Availability to cover other needs may be required; blackout period applies from the week of American Thanksgiving through the end of the holiday season. Full-Time non-exempt associates may have open availability (7 days a week, 32–40 hours). Benefits and Compensation
Company base pay ranges from $20.00 – $22.00 per hour in Burlingame, CA.
