Summer Tour Guide

About the Role
Tour guides are the first impression visitors get of academic and student life at BSU. Tour guides will lead prospective students, families, and school/community groups on walking tours of the BSU campus daily. They will receive extensive ongoing training in social skills, public speaking, and all aspects of our university. Please upload a copy of your availability for May-August 2026 in your application.
The hours for this position would be Monday‑Friday 9 AM‑5 PM. Responsibilities
Lead prospective students, families, and school/community groups on walking tours of the BSU campus daily. Respond to questions and provide information throughout the visit. Represent the university with professionalism. Preferred Qualifications
Passion for promoting BSU Physical ability to traverse campus while talking Ability to work independently and in groups Eagerness to share experiences as a prospective and current student Excellent verbal and written communication skills Instinctual curiosity about other people and good listening skills Friendly, outgoing personality and willingness to talk with strangers Physical Demands
Traverse around campus for 1‑2 hours on each shift or longer during events. Special Conditions for Eligibility
