Entry Level Paralegal

This position is in‑office 5 days a week.

The Position This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to learn civil litigation from the ground up and join our Paralegal Service Center. The Paralegal Service Center in Milwaukee supports a wide variety of practice areas in all of our 43 office locations. Recent graduates and those enrolled in a paralegal or legal studies program are encouraged to apply for this full‑time position.

Key Responsibilities Prepare summaries of deposition transcripts Assemble chronologies of pertinent facts and key documents, including medical records Prepare records, review and prepare exhibits, analyze medical records, and conduct trial preparation Contact outside sources (government agencies, etc.) to obtain public information and review and analyze the same Search and retrieve information from court‑related databases as well as other online sources of case information Review, analyze and organize document productions by opposing parties and co‑defendants Assist in document productions Draft subpoenas, notices of deposition and pattern discovery requests Conduct investigative research on opposing parties and expert witnesses Manage documents and organize case files

Qualifications Must have an associate’s degree from an ABA‑Approved Paralegal Studies Program or a bachelor’s degree Strong computer skills with proficiency in MS Office Suite and a document management system Attention to detail and organizational skills are critical Clear and effective communication skills both orally and in writing Must be able to multitask and successfully manage a variety of demands daily Must be able to work independently and be proactive
