Sales Representative – Richmond (Near West End) – 1260

Position The Sales Representative assists the General Manager with new membership sales by bringing new members to the studio, building relationships, providing a positive experience, and successfully moving prospects through the sales process to a membership sale. The role also retains and provides outstanding customer service to current members. Boutique fitness knowledge or experience is preferred, but not required. Positions are available for morning shifts (Mon‑Fri 8am‑2pm), evening shifts (Mon‑Fri 4‑8pm), and weekend rotation.
Responsibilities
Execute the sales process of lead generation, follow‑up, and closing
Conduct studio tours while establishing relationships and targeting individual goals
Maintain acceptable level of personal sales production
Emphasize and enforce club objectives as a fitness and wellness provider
Present available services to current or prospective members
Book quality appointments to achieve monthly sales quota
Participate in special events (health fairs, grand openings, marathons, community and hospital events) to promote the club
Develop selling skills
Process accurate cash and credit card transactions
Follow up and follow‑through activities with prospective clients
Input inventory for retail clothing and other items
Attend and complete all relative training programs
Take pictures for social media platforms
Perform light cleaning of the retail area, studio, and restrooms
Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Excellent sales, communication, and customer service skills
Warm, welcoming, and engaging personality
Ability to build strong customer relationships
Goal‑oriented with the ability to achieve sales in memberships, retail, and private training
Self‑motivated and takes initiative
Ability to learn and use the ClubReady software system
Excellent communication skills via in‑person, phone, and email
Strong organizational and multi‑tasking skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Proficient computer skills
Authorization to work in the United States required
