A Day in the Life
Set and achieve sales goals for both in-store and digital selling, using selling tools (text and social media).
Build lasting relationships with customers.
Provide the best service to customers on their terms.
Give honest and confident feedback to customers about style and fit.
Seek fashion and product knowledge to build your expertise.
Work with the team to keep the department customer ready – filling orders, stocking, re‑merchandising, price markdowns, and light cleaning.
Grow relationships by opening new Nordstrom Rewards program accounts.
Hours and schedule vary by week, depending on business needs.
This role may require occasional duties in a department other than the one you were hired into.

Excellent communication and people skills.
Self‑motivated, goal‑oriented focus.
Strong interest in using networking and technology to achieve sales goals.
Ability to excel in a team environment.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
Organization and follow‑through.
Flexible to work a schedule based on business needs.
Physical Requirements:
Continuous movement for 6–8 hours per shift, including frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing and reaching when handling merchandise and assisting customers.
Frequent use of hands for grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling.
Handling bulky and sometimes awkwardly shaped items, including reaching for and lifting above the head.
Regularly lift items up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds.

Pay Range $14.95 – $14.95 per hour. This position may be eligible for performance‑based incentives/bonuses. Eligibility requirements may apply based on location, job level, classification, and length of employment.
Commission Commission for apparel, shoes, and accessories sales typically ranges from 3% to 14.5%. Beauty and men’s fragrance sales roles typically receive 3%.
