Part Time Nabisco Merchandiser/Order Writer
Join our team of Part Time Nabisco Merchandisers and fulfill the merchandising needs of our customers through communication & relationship building, stocking store shelves, and maintaining or changing displays. Become an ambassador for world‑famous brands such as Oreo, Ritz, belVita, Chips Ahoy and Triscuit.
Responsibilities
Represent Mondelēz in front of in‑store employees and work closely with the sales representative to optimize the visibility of Mondelēz products on shelves and to construct promotional displays.
Carry out in‑store visits according to Mondelēz’ DSD Merchandising Steps, including capturing pictures of displays at assigned stores.
Order product (via iPad Tablet) for shelf and display to ensure in‑stock conditions.
Ensure Nabisco leading brands (Oreo, Ritz, belVita, Chips Ahoy, Triscuit, among others) are well represented, stocked, and maintained through Mondelēz’ guidelines.
Ensure the Sales Representative’s negotiated plans with store managers are being followed and communicate any issues with Mondelēz’ management team.
Follow the daily schedule set by the merchandising manager to ensure the most efficient in‑store service.
Enhance seasonal sales, seasonal displays, and new product launches.
Demonstrate a positive and upbeat attitude while representing Mondelēz in store.
Qualifications
Be at least 18 years of age and have a valid driver’s license issued by the state in which you reside.
Maintain a positive and professional attitude; be self‑motivated and able to work independently.
Drive your personal vehicle with valid insurance coverage to a variety of store locations (mileage will be reimbursed).
Perform hard work in a fast‑paced environment and meet defined physical requirements, including repetitive lifting, bending, and carrying up to 25 lbs., as well as occasional pushing and pulling over 50 lbs.
Previous retail or grocery experience is a plus.
Live within 25 miles of the primary location (Athens, AL); secondary locations include Madison, AL.
Schedule availability required: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Friday.
Salary and Benefits Hourly compensation ranges from $16.00 to $18.00, based on relevant experience. Eligible for a 401(S) Savings Plan, mileage reimbursement, health and well‑being program, employee assistance program (EAP), internet reimbursement of $10.00 when a company device is not provided, and safety equipment such as kneeling pads, safety knives, and PPE.
