Retail Sales Associate - 2216 at FirstCash. Full-time role in our pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate partners with the store team to handle customer service, sales, loans, and related transactions. Position Summary
We are seeking entry-level, full-time sales associates. The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate greets and assists customers, processes sales and loans, and supports both lending and retail operations. The role involves working with a variety of merchandise, including jewelry, tools, electronics, and firearms (in FFL locations). Responsibilities
Greet and engage customers to establish rapport and recommend appropriate financial solutions. Perform non-management open/close procedures. Keep the sales floor clean, stocked, and merchandise displayed. Process sales and loan transactions in accordance with established policies and regulatory requirements. Handle cash and negotiable items per policies and procedures. Answer incoming calls per company standards. Explain the legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers. Communicate effectively with coworkers and managers, fostering teamwork and a positive customer experience. Complete training and perform other related duties as assigned. Other duties as needed. Minimum Requirements & Qualifications
Willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds; comfortable standing, walking, and performing physical tasks as required. Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified (where applicable). Minimum age 18; High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience. Strong desire to serve customers, be team-oriented, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Cash handling experience is preferred; basic math proficiency; computer literacy and POS system operation. Flexibility to work across multiple locations, including weekends and holidays.
