GUESS?, Inc. Position Overview The Seasonal Sales Associate is responsible for sales generation and delivering a positive customer experience. The Seasonal Sales Associate will also handle a variety of operational duties as assigned by the store management team, including housekeeping and visual presentation standards. Essential Functions Customer Experience
Greeting Customers: Greet customers immediately upon entering the store with a smile and a sincere greeting. First Impressions: Create a positive first impression through energetic attitude and adherence to dress code. Store Standards: Maintain a clean, organized environment by adhering to store standards and cleanliness. Product Information: Provide customers with current, relevant product information. Fitting Room Service: Provide quality service in the fitting rooms, follow up with customers, maintain cash wrap cleanliness, and assist with add-on sales where appropriate. Cash Wrap Efficiency: Provide efficient service at the cash wrap, offer Gift Cards, maintain cash wrap cleanliness, and capture customer information in the database. Customer Appreciation: Thank customers for shopping at GUESS as they exit the store. Cooperation & Dependability
Task Completion: Satisfactorily complete all duties as assigned by management. Punctuality: Be punctual and adhere to the designated work schedule. Teamwork: Be flexible and work well with peers and management to accomplish duties. Policy Adherence: Follow GUESS policies and procedures 100%. Housekeeping: Perform housekeeping duties as required. Personal Performance
Sales Goals: Meet or exceed the Sales per Hour (SPH) target as assigned by management. Miscellaneous Responsibilities
Meetings and Functions: Participate in and attend all store meetings and related functions. Positive Attitude: Represent a positive attitude toward the merchandise and the company. Inventory Participation: Participate in all inventories. Additional Duties: Assume and complete other duties as assigned by store management. Physical Requirements: Ability to perform heavy lifting in excess of 30 pounds and stand for a minimum of eight hours during scheduled shifts. Job Requirements
Customer Service Skills: Excellent communication and customer service skills. Retail Experience: Previous retail experience preferred. Team Player: Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment. Flexible Schedule: Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Physical Stamina: Ability to walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, and balance on a frequent basis. Brand & Store Details
