Senior Interior Design Manager (Based in Hong Kong)

We are partnering with a leading global owner and operator to appoint a Senior Interior Design Manager into their Hong Kong based interior design team. This is a senior role suited to designers who have worked on luxury hotels, integrated resorts, casino gaming environments, and large scale hospitality developments and who understand design from both the consultancy and client side.
This position sits at group level and plays a key role in shaping design direction across a diverse portfolio of live and upcoming projects. You will lead design consultants, guide internal teams, and work closely with senior stakeholders to ensure design outcomes meet brand, operational, and commercial expectations.

What you will be doing
Lead and coordinate design delivery across multiple hospitality and resort projects, working closely with internal teams, consultants, and external partners
Provide clear design leadership across interiors, finishes, FF and E, lighting, artwork, and styling to ensure consistency with brand and design intent
Guide consultants through concept, schematic, detailed design, and delivery stages with a strong focus on quality, practicality, and operational performance
Partner with project delivery, procurement, and operations teams to ensure design solutions are durable, buildable, and aligned with budget and programme
Prepare and present design proposals, narratives, and key milestones to senior leadership and executive stakeholders
Mentor and manage designers, setting clear expectations and maintaining a high standard of design excellence across the team
What we are looking for
Extensive experience in luxury hospitality interiors including hotels, resorts, casino gaming, food and beverage, or integrated resort environments required
Proven background working on both the consultancy side AND within owner or operator led organisations required
Strong leadership presence with the confidence to engage senior executives and guide multiple stakeholders toward a unified design outcome
Excellent project management capability with experience delivering complex projects from concept through to completion
Strong technical and creative design skill set including space planning, materials, FF and E, and design documentation
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Adobe Suite, SketchUp, and Microsoft Office
Degree qualified in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related discipline with eight or more years of relevant experience
This role is based in Hong Kong
