Duties
Provide guidance to commanders and staff on administrative processes and procedures.
Maintain a tracking system for all legal actions and files.
Review outgoing correspondence for compliance with Army Correspondence standards and applicable regulations.
Prepare legal documents to ensure clarity and alignment with regulatory requirements.
Conditions of Employment
Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 25% of the time.
Work schedule requires on call, weekends, and holidays.

Experience In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Specialized Experience One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS‑07 grade level in the Federal service, including operating established systems to prepare personnel actions (e.g., rewards, evaluations); maintaining administrative files or correspondence for accurate record‑keeping; utilizing automated systems to compose various legal correspondence or reports; and proofreading documents to correct errors (e.g., spelling, punctuation, formatting). This represents typical work for a second lower grade (GS‑06).
Education Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience. For this position, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone – no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
Additional Information
Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre‑Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration.
Proof of U.S. citizenship is required.
