Industrial Injection is seeking a driven, relationship‑focused Outside Sales Representative to help us continue expanding our footprint in this growing market.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Sells consultatively and makes recommendations to prospects and clients using various products and Brand Standards

Develops and maintains a database of qualified leads using proven sales strategies/techniques

Build and fosters relationships and a network of referrals in the local community to create new opportunities for revenue growth

Maintains accurate documentation for sales and prospecting activities and provides status reports as needed

Completes all required client/project paperwork

Identifies and resolves customer satisfaction issues

Perform other duties as needed, such as answering the phone, helping at the front counter, consulting with customers, etc.

Manage relationships with indirect, multi‑development units and big‑box retailers within territory

Build rapport, train, explain roles and responsibilities, provide marketing material, seek out event opportunities to increase penetration and generate revenue

Meet and exceed revenue and assigned strategic product unit targets

Become an expert in a competitive environment and be able to communicate regarding competitive offerings while effectively positioning Industrial Injection as the best performance diesel choice for assigned locations

Identify opportunities for business referrals within assigned portfolio

Participate in activities that promote Industrial Injection products and services, i.e., trade fairs, city events, etc.

Build territory by distributing and maintaining current marketing materials

Probe and problem solve with customers to offer the right product solutions based on their needs as customer interaction opportunities present themselves

Provide exceptional customer service to all customers, both internal and external. Complete daily activity logs, sales reports, etc.

Manage mileage and expense reports

Maintain valid driver's license, adequate automobile insurance coverage and must have appropriate working vehicle for transportation

Performance measures include revenue attainment, unit goal attainment, penetration of customer base and customer retention

Regularly calling on established accounts

Obtain new customer accounts

Maintain knowledge with all current vendor lines

Work with customers to address needs and communicate with inside sales representatives

Address any issues with customers

Follow policies on returns and core credit policies

QUALIFICATIONS

3 years outside sales experience preferred

Ability to achieve goals and determine priorities

Ability to build and execute a sales plan for the local market

Relationship building skills are required for this position with the ability to work with internal and external customers at various levels

Must be self‑motivated and self‑disciplined and provide prompt follow-up to all customer inquiries

Will build and maintain accurate and up‑to‑date strategic account plans

Must be able to keep organized, accurate records on daily activities and results

Strong organizational skills and time management skills are imperative

Strong presentation and leadership skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Proficient in all aspects of computer work including internet searches etc.

Ability to work independently and be able to effectively multi‑task. Goal oriented

Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

Daily work and tasks are subject to change

REQUIREMENTS

3 years successful outside sales experience (diesel experience preferred)

A valid driver’s license and reliable personal transportation required

Maintain work vehicle (oil changes, maintenance, etc.…)

High school diploma (or equivalent)

Able to travel up to 75% of the time

Exceptional level of professionalism

Strong telephone, interpersonal and communications skills

High level of compassion and integrity

Strong "one call/visit close" ability

Must be able to multi‑task, set priorities and manage appointments

Proficient in Windows Microsoft suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel)

Independent, self‑reliant, and self‑motivated
