Sales Clerk (Beverage Cart).

Responsibilities Works in the Snack Shack, Snack Bar, or on the Beverage Cart to serve the patrons on the Golf Course. Serves a variety of food and beverage items including hot dogs, nachos, soft pretzels, chips, candy, drinks, and alcoholic and non‑alcoholic beverages. May operate a gas beverage cart on the golf course, working independently, including loading and unloading in accordance with set standards. Maintains a change fund, records sales, receives payment, makes change, and dispenses snacks and beverages to patrons. May be required to mix simple alcoholic drinks. Responsible for stocking, direct selling, and restocking of the beverage cart, snack shack, or snack bar coolers, maintaining sales records and consumption reports. Turns over cash and supporting documentation to supervisor at end of shift. Keeps work area clean and orderly. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

Must complete a background investigation with favorable results.

Must possess or obtain and maintain a valid state Driver's License in one of the 50 U.S. states or possessions to operate vehicles.

Position requires shift work to provide coverage on evenings, weekends, holidays, or special situations.

U.S. Citizens and Non‑U.S. Nationals who have resided in the U.S. Territory for three (3) or more consecutive years immediately preceding the start of Federal affiliation.

Must meet the appropriate minimum age requirement for working with and/or serving alcoholic beverages.

Must provide current Driving Record.

Qualifications Open to everyone. Applicants will be categorized by preference(s) and/or priority consideration eligibilities. An applicant's eligibility will be determined based on eligibility claimed in the questionnaire and proof of eligibility must be provided with application by the closing date, 04/30/2026. Business Based Action, Military Spouse Preference, Outside Applicant Veteran, Spouse/Widow/Parent of Veteran, and Transition Hiring Preference.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience includes paid, unpaid, volunteer work through National Service programs such as Peace Corps, AmeriCorps, and other organizations. Resume must clearly describe relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, transcripts will be required.

Qualifying Experience Preferred to have experience in cash handling and/or retail or food service work of any kind, demonstrating knowledge of proper cash handling procedures, ability to resolve arithmetic problems used when receiving payment, and ability to operate a Point‑of‑Sale (POS) system. Must be able to follow oral and written instructions, read, speak, and write English, possess skill in dealing with the public, and successfully complete DRAM Shop Theory training.

Education: This position does not allow education substitution. Foreign education may be used if credentials are deemed equivalent to those gained in a conventional U.S. education program; proof is required.

Probationary period may be required.

Pre‑employment requirements must be satisfactorily met prior to Entrance on Duty (EOD).

Payment of Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs is not authorized.
