Schedule:
Wednesday‑Sunday. Schedules will vary; afternoon and evening availability preferred.
Job Summary As a
Server , you will be responsible for delivering exceptional food and beverage service to senior living residents during designated dining hours. This role ensures a refined dining experience by adhering to high service standards, maintaining professionalism, and fostering a welcoming atmosphere in alignment with the organization's values and expectations.
What You’ll Do
Greet members and guests promptly and courteously upon arrival
Present menus, explain specials, and answer questions about food and beverages
Take accurate food and drink orders and relay them to kitchen and bar staff
Serve meals and beverages in a timely and professional manner
Monitor tables and anticipate member needs throughout the dining experience
Clear and reset tables between courses and after meals
Ensure all service areas are clean, organized, and stocked
Handle member complaints or concerns with discretion and professionalism
Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service flow
Follow all facility policies, health regulations, and safety standards
Assist with setup and breakdown of dining areas for events or private functions
Maintain a high level of member satisfaction and personalized service
What You’ll Bring
Be 16 years or older
Strong written and oral communication skills
Experience with one‑on‑one customer service interaction
Strong teamwork skills
ServSafe® Certification and State Food Handlers Card
Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
Physical and Sensory Requirements
This job involves regular exposure to moving mechanical parts and a kitchen environment with fumes, airborne particles, and moderate noise. Employees must have the physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift trays, and perform repetitive tasks. Occasional exposure to wet or humid conditions, extreme temperatures, and vibration may occur. Reasonable accommodations are available for individuals with disabilities.
