Tire Sales and Installation Team Member Full Time

Job Summary Responsible for assisting members in the selection and purchase of tires, properly installing and repairing tires, completing necessary tire bay documentation, and maintaining tire bay policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Properly install tires, including mounting, dismounting, rotating, and balancing.
Dispose of tires properly and ensure propane tanks are filled per club policy.
Maintain a clean and professional tire bay and waiting area; merchandise tire displays and automotive products.
Provide knowledgeable service at the tire desk and coordinate with Home Office regarding member tire needs.
Maintain accurate and complete supply inventory; utilize special-order tire programs.
Comply with safety and cleanliness standards and properly use tire bay equipment.
Assist members in selecting and purchasing tires, verifying vehicle sizes.
Fill propane tanks when certified per DOT requirements.
Ensure tire bay scheduling data and documentation is completed.
Maintain all club policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned, including working in other departments as needed.
Maintain regular, predictable full attendance.
Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Valid driver’s license and ability to drive automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Basic computer skills or willingness to learn.
Prior tire installation experience preferred.
Must pass Michelin training levels one through four within three months of hire.
Ability to lift over 30 pounds with assistance.
Environmental Job Conditions
Exposure to indoor and outdoor temperatures and weather conditions.
Job spent most time standing, moving continuously on hard surfaces; requires bending, climbing, crawling, kneeling, pushing, pulling, reaching, moving side to side, stooping, and climbing ladders/step stools.
Requires lifting objects up to 30 pounds; may require lifting heavier objects with assistance.
Work surrounded by moving cars, machinery or loud equipment; may require shouting to be heard; occasional exposure to approved chemicals and cleaning agents.

Compensation In accordance with the Pay Transparency requirements, the following represents a good faith estimate of the compensation range for this position. At BJ’s Wholesale Club, we carefully consider a wide range of non‑discriminatory factors when determining salary. Actual salaries will vary depending on location, education, experience, and qualifications. The pay range for this position is starting at $17.50. $1,000 Sign-On Bonus.
