Compensation and Schedule $24.50 per hour plus mileage reimbursement. Schedule: Thursday – Monday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

Job Description The Merchandiser ensures the availability, visibility, and promotion of Coca‑Cola beverages in retail stores across the Coca‑Cola Beverages Northeast territory. The role involves stocking and maintaining product sections, displays, and coolers with accurate product levels.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Execute merchandising plans to ensure optimal product placement, display, and availability in retail stores; this includes stocking shelves, rotating products, building displays, and ensuring product freshness.

Maintain product on store racks, shelves, displays, and in coolers by identifying replenishment needs.

Transport product between the backroom and display floor using manual and powered equipment.

Implement promotional activities and marketing campaigns in accordance with company guidelines; set up promotional displays and signage to attract customer attention and drive sales.

Secure damaged or defective product while maintaining a clean product space.

Ensure accurate product counts by properly managing backrooms and organizing backstock.

Operate manual and powered handling equipment such as pallet jacks and hand‑trucks.

Maintain areas of responsibility in designated accounts by communicating status and concerns to store and company personnel.

Follow company and store policies regarding backroom, display floor, replenishment, equipment, and safety.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with store managers and staff to drive collaboration and maximize merchandising opportunities; provide excellent customer service to address inquiries or concerns.

Job Requirements

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.

1+ year of experience working in grocery, retail, consumer goods, or related field preferred.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships.

Experience working with manual or powered pallet jacks preferred.

Ability to repetitively lift, push, and pull 40–55 pounds; reach above head height; squat, kneel, bend, and reach.

Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.

Ability to push and pull manual and powered handling equipment (e.g., pallet jack, hand‑truck) containing product loads for a minimum of 100 yards without assistance.

Valid driver’s license, driving record within policy guidelines, and insurance that meets or exceeds company requirements.
