Catering Sales Team Member | JOB DESCRIPTION Reports to: Catering Office Manager | Location: Pasadena

FLSA Status: Non‑Exempt | Compensation $21.00

Driven by our values and an innate understanding of our culture, the Catering Services Team Member provides our guests who reach out to our catering office with exceptional and memorable catering events that exceed their expectations. This is achieved through friendly, helpful and accurate planning of the event in conjunction with the party host and the restaurants.

This position partners with the Catering Office, Marketing, Operations, and Restaurant Management Teams.

Core Responsibilities

Manages inbound calls from guests and serves all catering needs and requests through skilled sales and service expertise to ensure superior events.

Demonstrates expert knowledge of the menu and event coordination to meet and exceed guests’ expectations.

Supports the Office Manager in training and leading the Catering Services Office team, ensuring adherence to policies and service standards.

Works accurately with the Caterease database so that all required information is present.

Ensures a seamless handoff from the Catering Office to Restaurant Operations to deliver consistent food and service experiences.

Maintains a guest- and team-first focus daily, demonstrating respect and loyalty to the entire team.

Drives sales generation through outbound calls, follow‑ups, and quotes.

Collects feedback to ensure guests’ needs were exceeded and they will choose Stonefire for future events.

Performs all administrative duties, including returning voicemails, answering emails, and requesting event insurance accurately and timely.

Training will take place in the Home Office and will require in‑person attendance until completed.

The role requires a minimum of three days at the Pasadena Office.

Performs other related work and projects as assigned by Management.

Qualifications

1+ years of guest service experience (preferred).

1+ years of high-level phone experience assisting guests (preferred).

Catering and food service experience highly preferred.

Strong organizational and exceptional communication skills.

High-level computer skills, including Microsoft programs.

Integrity and the ability to interact with diverse people.

Open to coaching and development.

Ability to work independently or as a team member, maintaining focus and productivity.

Availability on weekends and holidays as needed.

Compensation: $21.00 per hour.
