Responsibilities
Client Consultation: Conduct thorough consultations with clients to understand their insurance needs and provide personalized recommendations.
Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring overall satisfaction.
Sales Generation: Achieve and exceed sales targets by proactively working our existing leads while leveraging existing relationships.
Product Knowledge: Stay up to date on the latest insurance products, industry trends, and regulatory changes to effectively communicate value propositions to clients.
Relationship Building: Cultivate strong, long‑lasting relationships with clients, earning their trust and confidence as their go‑to insurance advisor.
Documentation: Ensure accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, policy details, and other relevant information. Implement sales strategies and tactics proven effective in maintaining and growing existing customer portfolios comprised of loyal, long‑term clients.
Continuing Education: Continue your education on evolving insurance industry protocols to adequately fulfill all policy requirements and monitor insurance claims to customers’ satisfaction.
Plan Development: Listen attentively to new and potential clients, evaluate their needs and financial status, and propose ideal plan options for their unique circumstances and insurance needs. Create tailored risk management strategies directly with clients that align with their risk profiles.
Bookkeeping & Reporting: Ensure bookkeeping systems, sales databases, and customer records are maintained to report progress toward monthly initiatives to stakeholders.
Minimum Required Qualifications
Bilingual: Fluent in Spanish.
High school diploma.
Must be 18 years of age.
Ability to use Microsoft Office.
Strong interpersonal, communication, customer service, and analytical skills.
Proven understanding of the insurance industry including insurance products, risk management, and any state and federal regulations.
Preferred Qualifications
A valid 4‑40‑2‑20 or 20‑44 Insurance license.
Experience with independent Florida P&C insurance carriers.
Compensation Details Base pay PLUS commissions. Base pay is determined by level of experience and certifications. Average first‑year total earnings range from $55,000–$70,000 through a combination of base pay and commission. Top‑performing agents in their second year and onward can earn up to $75,000.
