Job Overview
Full‑time Retail Parts Pro – a professional level sales position supporting the DIY automotive business. The role requires advanced product, inventory, and troubleshooting knowledge for retail and in‑store services. Primary Responsibilities
Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customers during visits and phone calls Achieve personal and store sales goals and service objectives Manage DIY services (battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.) Maintain high standards of customer service and store appearance Key holder responsibilities (task assignment, safety, open/close duties) Secondary Responsibilities
Assist in store inventory processes (truck put‑away, shoot‑outs, cycle counts, back stock, etc.) Maintain store cleanliness (floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, parking lot) Provide DIY services (battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.) Success Factors & Skills
Friendly communication and strong customer relationships Ability to locate and stock parts; advanced parts lookup and sourcing Safety knowledge and skills; advanced solution and project recommendation Expert testing, diagnostic equipment for DIY services ASE P2 certified or ASE ready equivalent (preferred) Operating inventory systems, POS, parts lookup systems; Microsoft Word and Excel required Strong organizational skills; ability to work an assortment of days, evenings, and weekends as needed Qualifications
3‑5 years of prior automotive parts experience Proven sales ability in customer transaction fulfillment Valid driver's license Speak and write English; Spanish a plus Education and certification (ASE certification preferred but not required) Benefits & EEO Statement
