Part-Time Retail Sales Associate to join our team. $12.00 to $15.00 per hour. Earn commission on transactions with potential to exceed base pay. Our Earned Wage Access program is available to all employees after the second day of employment. Auto-enrollment in the 401(k) after six months. Employee discounts and access to a large discounts network are also provided. Position Summary

We are seeking entry-level, part-time sales associates in our pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate partners with the store team to ensure customer service on both lending and retail sides. The role involves greeting, engaging with customers, processing sales, loans, and other transactions, and resolving customer inquiries. Associates will work with a wide variety of jewelry and general merchandise, including tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations), and more. The Part-Time Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate position offers an hourly wage plus commission based on productivity. Actual pay depends on location, qualifications, and experience. Responsibilities

Greets and interacts with customers to develop a rapport and provide appropriate financial solutions. Performs non-management open/close procedures. Keeps the sales floor clean, stocked, and maintains merchandise displays. Performs sales and loan transactions in accordance with policies, procedures, practices, and regulatory requirements. Handles cash and negotiable items per policies and regulatory requirements. Answers incoming calls per company standards. Communicates the legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers. Communicates effectively with coworkers and managers, showing respect and using available tools. Collaborates with all employees to create a positive customer experience. Completes required training. Other related duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements & Qualifications

Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds. Must be willing and able to perform duties for extended periods, including standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting. Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified. Employees may assist customers outside the building or retrieve products stored externally. Minimum Age: 18 years old. High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience. Strong desire to work, serve customers, work with people, and be team-oriented. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Ability to perform basic math calculations proficiently. Cash handling experience is preferred. Should be able to work in multiple locations as needed. Ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays. Computer literate and able to operate POS systems and common office machines. The employee commission incentive plan is proprietary to FirstCash. Pawnbrokers have the potential to earn 2-8% commission based on personal performance.
