We are currently looking for a AV Salesperson person for New York City. MUST have prior AV/Construction industry based experience and ability to close leads. Book of business a plus.
Primary Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain relationships with our clients
Develop, manage, and follow up prospective client leads based on EENY’s offerings
Provide accurate and timely details in accordance with EENY’s design and project management standards used for the design of EENY systems and deliverables including proposals, financial documents, contracts etc.
Visit and communicate with clients as needed to ensure complete satisfaction
Prepare and present sales activity reports for all contact and opportunities
Coordinate project milestones from sales associate to project manager throughout all phases of the project.
Follow projects through to final adjustment and commissioning of installed systems
Continually define ways to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships
Manage all opportunities, accounts, and contacts in ConnectWise CRM database. Including architects, designers, general contractors, and clients.
Update information in CW and provide status updates at weekly sales meeting
Administer marketing initiatives such as outreach, mailers, e-mail campaigns, and direct client interactions.
Build new business by identifying possible leads, building, enhancing and developing new client relationships.
Other duties as assigned
Technical Responsibilities for this position include:
General understanding and willingness to learning equipment installed by EENY
Understands the importance of continued Technical Learning
Has basic working knowledge of all or some of the following areas:
Audio & Video Distribution Concepts and Equipment
Networking Standards
Working Knowledge of lighting and shade control systems
Working Knowledge of home cinema and high-end audio systems
Working Knowledge of Crestron Control Systems
Working Knowledge of Savant Control Systems
Requirements of the Sales and Business Development:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must be organized and proficient in time management skills
Aptitude for working within multiple software platforms
Comfortable selling and interacting with VIP clientele
Project management experience a plus
Business to client experience required, smart home integration sales preferred
ConnectWise experience a plus
