Overview

Sales Manager and Estimator – Knoxville, TN. Responsibilities

Provide professional and accurate move consultations by selling all products and services to best complete customer needs. Update all estimate notes after completion, detailing each element to enhance client experience. Follow up with clients until they book our services and maintain thorough follow‑up to secure reservations. Assist in achieving financial goals by continually increasing sales and minimizing expenses. Collaborate with the General Manager and Franchise Partner to increase residential and commercial move revenue and develop strategic relationships with potential and existing customers. Maintain a comprehensive understanding of all company products, services, pricing, and promotions to communicate benefits and value and effectively oppose any objections. Track metrics and booked jobs, submit commission reports no later than Monday following the end of the pay period. Network with local businesses and apartment complexes to grow leads and partnerships. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business, management, or related field preferred. Minimum of one year of business, management, sales or related experience; moving industry experience preferred. Demonstrated understanding and application of effective selling strategies and techniques. Consistent ability to meet and/or exceed sales goals. Strong teamwork and collaboration skills. Excellent customer service, verbal, and written communication skills. Commitment to customer service and core values. Ability to analyze and solve problems effectively. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record; insurable under the franchise auto insurance plan. Compensation

Base salary of $40,000 – $50,000 plus unlimited commission. Commission structure: 2% on actual job revenue for estimates converted to jobs without direct supervision; commission paid on net revenue. Commission submission required for all jobs booked, with no commission for jobs grossly under‑ or over‑estimated by 10% or more. Benefits

Transportation and laptop provided. Company vehicle available for on‑field estimates; reimbursed at IRS rate per mile for personal vehicle usage. Minimum 55% conversion rate (estimates to jobs booked) required. Other Duties

Collect prepayments for move jobs (by phone), assist with welcome calls to future customers, follow up on sales leads, and perform other operational tasks as needed. Critical Performance Factors
