Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive, and customer-focused Inside Sales Assistant to join our growing team. This position plays a vital role in supporting our inside and outside sales team, processing quotes and orders, communicating with clients and manufacturers, and ensuring a seamless sales experience from start to finish. Key Responsibilities
Assist the inside sales team with quoting, pricing, and product availability requests Generate reports for the General Manager Coordinate with manufacturers regarding lead times, technical support, and warranty claims Provide exceptional customer service via phone, email, and web-based platforms Enter purchase orders, track shipments, and resolve issues related to order fulfillment Maintain the office calendar Organize and update the office SharePoint site Maintain manufacturer literature and the sample room Communicate effectively with lighting designers, engineers, contractors, and distributors Qualifications
Experience in inside sales, customer service, or a related administrative support role preferred (experience in the lighting, electrical, or building materials industry is a plus) Familiarity with lighting and controls products is desirable but not required Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with SharePoint and Oasis is a plus High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills Team-oriented with a proactive and positive attitude What We Offer
