Responsibilities Establish initial contact with prospective customers and identify and develop new business opportunities.
Develop and maintain customer contacts and solicit opportunities for additional company involvement.
Provide follow-up contacts to assure customer satisfaction and offer required advice in various technical and product capability areas.
Solicit new business opportunities on a routine basis for expansion of the company involvement at customer locations.
Safety Requirements This is a safety-sensitive position. The ability to work in a constant state of awareness and in a safe manner is imperative. Candidates offered employment must undergo a pre‑employment drug test. The test screens for drugs including amphetamines, cocaine, marijuana, methamphetamines, opiates, oxycodone, and phencyclidine, following the cutoff levels set by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA).
Qualifications The successful candidate will possess industry and territory knowledge required for maximum potential. In addition, the candidate must effectively manage established existing customer relationships and prospect for future opportunities in the trading areas served.
College courses in sales, marketing, or business administration are preferred.
Excellent communication skills, self‑motivated, self‑starter, personable, extroverted personality, and well organized.
Physical Requirements Ability to sit for extended periods of time, access customer business locations, and operate an automobile.
