We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dog Groomer to join our pet care team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals, excellent grooming skills, and experience handling dogs of various breeds and temperaments. This role involves providing professional grooming services, ensuring the comfort and safety of pets, and delivering exceptional customer service to pet owners. The Dog Groomer will play a vital role in maintaining the health and appearance of our clients’ pets while fostering a positive environment for animals and their owners. Responsibilities

Perform grooming services including bathing, trimming, clipping, and styling according to breed standards and customer preferences. Handle dogs safely and humanely using proper animal restraint techniques. Assess each pet’s health condition and report any concerns to veterinary staff or pet owners. Maintain cleanliness of grooming tools and work area to ensure a hygienic environment. Provide excellent customer service by communicating with pet owners about grooming needs and aftercare instructions. Assist with pet handling during grooming procedures, ensuring pets are comfortable and stress‑free. Support other animal care activities such as pet sitting or kennel duties as needed. Follow all safety protocols related to animal handling, heavy lifting, and equipment use. Requirements

Proven experience in a professional pet grooming environment. Knowledge of dog training techniques is a plus. Strong understanding of animal restraint methods and pet care best practices. Ability to handle dogs safely across various breeds and sizes, including heavy lifting when necessary. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners. Prior kennel experience or equine experience advantageous but not required. Compassionate attitude toward animals with patience and professionalism. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting tasks and stand for extended periods during grooming sessions. Working Hours

Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturdays 9am-5pm with optional Wednesdays as needed.
