Position Overview The Sales Associate is responsible for sales generation and delivering a positive customer experience. The role also includes operational duties such as housekeeping, visual presentation, and other tasks assigned by store management.

Responsibilities
Greeting Customers: Greet customers with a smile and sincere non-business-like greeting.
First Impressions: Create a positive first impression through an energetic attitude and adherence to dress code.
Store Standards: Maintain a clean and organized environment by following store cleanliness standards.
Product Information: Provide customers with current relevant product information.
Fitting Room Service: Provide quality service in fitting rooms, follow up with customers, maintain cash wrap cleanliness, and attempt add-ons.
Cash Wrap Efficiency: Offer gift cards, maintain cash wrap cleanliness, and capture customer information in the database.
Customer Appreciation: Thank all customers sincerely when they exit the store.
Task Completion: Complete all duties assigned by management satisfactorily.
Punctuality: Adhere to the designated work schedule.
Teamwork: Work flexibly with peers and management to accomplish duties.
Policy Adherence: Follow GUESS policies and procedures fully.
Housekeeping: Perform housekeeping duties as required.
Meetings and Functions: Participate in store meetings and related functions.
Positive Attitude: Represent a positive attitude toward merchandise and the company.
Inventory Participation: Participate in all inventories.
Additional Duties: Assume and complete other duties as assigned by store management.
Physical Requirements: Perform heavy lifting over 30 pounds and stand for a minimum of eight hours per shift.
Sales Goals: Meet or exceed the Sales per Hour (SPH) target.
Job Requirements
Customer Service Skills: Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Retail Experience: Previous retail experience preferred.
Team Player: Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
Flexible Schedule: Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Stamina: Ability to walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, and balance frequently.
