Responsibilities

Communication with customers on parts status

Communication with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner

Be able to read and understand the parts catalog when looking up parts

Answer phone calls, providing price quotes and other information

Reviews body shop estimates to be sure the parts that ordered are correct and pricing is in line with the estimate

Locates out‑of‑stock parts from outside source and submits an emergency order, if necessary

Making sure all internal requests for parts are billed on a service repair order

Tracking all incoming and outgoing parts for the dealership

Handling parts payment collection and making sure all parts are billed correctly through the service department

Packaging and shipping parts back to the manufacturer from time to time, and completing the appropriate record keeping.

Referring to parts manuals (both hard copy and electronic format) to identify exactly the right part(s) for the make, model and year of vehicles being serviced.

Advise customer on substitution or modification of part when replacement is not available.

Requirements

Previous Automotive Parts Counter experience required

CDK experience preferred

Previous experience with Volvo brand preferred not required

Able to work a flexible schedule that consists of a 5 day work week

Bilingual (English & Spanish) preferred not required

Great time management skills

Great communication skills

Clean driving record

Willing to submit to a pre‑employment background check & drug screen
