Customer Service Representative Position Overview:

We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to support daily operations by assisting the public with inquiries, processing requests, and resolving customer concerns. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.

Key Responsibilities:

Respond to customer inquiries by phone, email, or in person regarding services, programs, or accounts

Provide information related to licenses, registrations, permits, and eligibility requirements

Process requests including orders, account updates, cancellations, and service changes

Resolve customer complaints, including billing issues, adjustments, or service concerns

Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, and actions taken

Complete forms, update records, and process documentation using computer systems

Refer complex or unresolved issues to appropriate departments for further review

Follow up with customers regarding inquiries, claim results, or service updates

Determine applicable service charges and process payments or billing arrangements

Additional Responsibilities:

Perform research and analyze policies to resolve more complex customer issues

Use discretion when handling confidential or sensitive information

Reconcile daily cash receipts and verify accuracy of transactions

Prepare and transmit deposits in accordance with established procedures

Qualifications:

Strong customer service and communication skills

Ability to handle high-volume interactions in a fast-paced environment

Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping

Basic math and cash handling experience

Ability to problem solve and work independently
