
2026 Marketing Operations and Management Internship

Looking to gain quality experience working in the Sports Marketing, Communications, Operations, or Business Management field?
Oakland County Football Club is currently accepting internship applications for the 2026 season!
Ideal candidates will be ready to begin in May and provide support throughout the 2026 season (end of July).
Internship opportunities are designed for an individual seeking future work experience related to all facets of club operation. This position will provide an in-depth look at how a sports organization originates, penetrates a competitive space, operates, grows, and becomes established in their market.
Internships are eligible to provide credits for college courses/fulfillment.
All candidates must be available to work 6-8 hours on match days in addition to 5-10 hours throughout the rest of the week. We are flexible with applicant schedules as well where need be.
Interns will be responsible for assisting in numerous aspects of Oakland County FC operation, ranging from game day roles to off-season marketing initiatives. These key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Attend
designated community events to promote awareness of the Oakland County FC brand in the Oakland County area
Assist
in matchday operations such as box office, apparel, promotional, and entertainment; including: ticket fulfillment, customer service, setup and breakdown, sales and more
Support
in game day media relations tasks such as credentialing, check-in, statistics distribution and online coverage
Collaborate
with the other facets of club operation to obtain an insider view of each arm of the organization to help better understand goals and vision
Available
to assist at most OCFC home games and community events (full schedule to be shared at orientation)
Be open to
take on
new assignments and deliver a product with minimal supervision
While this position is unpaid, there are numerous benefits that come with a successful season:

Hands on experience during match days for a professionally operating organization
Education from sports industry professionals of all levels with over 10 years of experience.
