The Community Lead serves as a visible ambassador of Marine Credit Union within the Eau Claire community. This role is responsible for executing community engagement strategies that strengthen Marine Credit Union’s presence, build meaningful partnerships, and promote credit union products and services. The Community Lead collaborates with internal teams and external stakeholders to enrich the lives of people in our communities while ensuring compliance with all credit union policies, procedures, and applicable federal and state regulations

Major Duties and Responsibilities

Cultivate and maintain strong community relationships and partnerships to drive member acquisition and product growth

Act as a liaison between Marine Credit Union and the communities we serve, supporting community initiatives and outreach efforts.

Evaluate community needs and help facilitate plans and initiatives to address those needs.

Prepare and deliver regular reports on community engagement activities and their impact.

Provide insights and recommendations to enhance community engagement strategies.

Maintain business relationships with Select Employee Groups (SEGs) and community partners to grow credit union membership.

Collaborate with branch teams within the market to support and align on community initiatives.

Maintain positive brand awareness aligned with Marine Credit Union’s strategic drivers.

Coordinate and encourage employee involvement in community activities.

Mentor and coach employees on serving as brand ambassadors and expanding financial health education and outreach.

Partner with Business Development Officers to expand community partnerships through financial advocacy events.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Strong ability to build rapport and develop trusted relationships.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Experience planning and executing events.

High attention to detail with a service‑oriented mindset.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent required.

College degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Finance, or a related field preferred.
