About Us DMEA's service territory is in Southwest Colorado, and we serve approximately 37,000 meters and 30,000 members. We provide affordable, reliable, and safe electric service to members living and working in Montrose and Delta counties. We also provide electric service to a small portion of Gunnison County.

Position Marketing Intern

Compensation The wage for this full-time non-exempt position is $15.16 per hour.

Job Summary This position under general supervision will undertake a variety of assignments and projects to support DMEA/Elevate marketing activities. This position requires strong oral and written communication, excellent organizational skills, and attention to detail.

Education & Experience

High school diploma or GED required.

Currently enrolled in a degree program in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.

Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Qualifications & Licenses/Certifications

Must be 16 years of age or older.

Must have a valid driver's license.

Essential Job Functions

Assist in the development and execution of digital marketing campaigns.

Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm and produce creative content ideas.

Maintain organized records of marketing activities and materials.

Assist in planning, organizing, and attending marketing events, such as the farmer's market and canvassing neighborhoods.

Essential Physical and Mental Requirements

Requires frequent sitting, standing, walking and the use of keyboard/computer, and occasional bending, kneeling, reaching and lifting up to 25 pounds.

Requires attention to detail; the ability to read, write and perform basic math.

The use of office equipment including personal computers, related software, copiers and fax machines, etc.
