Customer Service Representative

Scope: Responsible for maximizing the service level and order management experience for customers of Precision Valve by providing and processing information in response to inquiries, concerns and requests about products and shipments Key Responsibilities: Safety and Housekeeping Set up and maintain customer accounts in Infor Enter customer requests for new/revised valve specifications Reactivate and/or revise component part numbers for customers Receive, review, acknowledge, and enter customer purchase orders within 24 business hours Manage and maintain customer open order reports, as requested by customer and/or management Manage and maintain order status in customer web-based portals Liaise with customers, production planning, and warehouse personnel to ensure on-time/in-full delivery of product by desired date specified on PO or as communicated in writing by customer Coordinate customer order fulfillment with items from finished goods or work in process inventory Forward customer shipping requests to the warehouse Prepare paperwork for customs shipments Calculate and report daily shipping estimates/results Generate and/or release invoices on a daily basis (i.e. same day as shipment) Communicate daily with customers; respond to e-mails and voice mails within 24 business hours Identify opportunities and implement solutions to improve customer satisfaction and service level Assist the Precision Sales team in management of customer relations and business as required Assist accounting team in month end closing or financial audits Assist the warehouse team with completion of shipping paperwork (BOLs, Delivery Notes, etc.) Prepare reports as requested by management All other duties as assigned Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications or other related field, or equivalent work experience preferred Minimum 4 years work experience in customer service or supply chain function Strong listening and comprehension skills Ability to stay composed and objective Excellent oral and written communications skills Conversational, patient and confident with a positive attitude Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to walk, sit, or stand on a regular basis/long periods of time. Using a computer and/or phone while sitting for extended periods is common. Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds may be required.
