A Day In The Life
The Shopper Marketing Intern will support the planning, execution, and optimization of shopper‑focused initiatives across eCommerce platforms, retailer digital environments, print channels, and in‑store marketing touchpoints. This role provides hands‑on experience in select functional areas of shopper marketing.
The intern will support department needs collaborating across cross‑functional teams—including brand marketing, sales, creative, and eCommerce—to help deliver seamless omnichannel shopper experiences. This position is ideal for someone eager to learn how consumers navigate retail environments (both online and offline) and how brands convert shopper intent into action.
The Impact You’ll Make
Help track performance of digital content and shopper marketing programs using dashboards, sales reports, and retailer tools.
Support audits and updates of product detail pages to ensure accuracy, brand consistency, and SEO‑friendly content.
Coordinate the development and distribution of in‑store signage, merchandising kits, and print collateral.
Partner with creative teams to gather copy, imagery, and artwork needed for digital and physical shopper marketing materials.
Conduct competitive and category audits across retailer sites and physical stores to identify insights and opportunities.
Help manage project timelines, routing, approvals, and asset organization within shared drives or digital asset management systems.
Assist in preparing presentations, reports, and recap materials for internal and external partners.
Support day‑to‑day administrative tasks, meeting preparation, and cross‑functional communication.
Who You Are
Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Communications, eCommerce, Retail Studies, or related field.
Strong interest in shopper marketing, digital commerce, retail media, or brand communications.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); familiarity with Canva, Adobe, or project management tools is a plus.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
Analytical mindset with willingness to learn data interpretation and performance tracking.
Curiosity about consumer behavior, retail environments, and evolving digital trends.
Compensation Monster Energy provides a base pay of $18 hourly for this position.
