Job Summary We are looking for a highly experienced Marketing Cloud Principal Consultant who can drive strategic decisions and provide expert guidance on both current and future initiatives within Park Place. The role demands deep knowledge of data architecture, customer mastering, compliance, and campaign execution. Key Responsibilities Provide expert assessment of existing work (customer mastering and data architecture) and advise on future directions to ensure alignment with or above industry benchmarks. Guide the project toward a practical, timely scope while still incorporating advanced capabilities and valuable enhancements. Define clear boundaries between execution responsibilities handled within Park Place and those carried out in Salesforce Marketing Cloud. Lead conversations on preference mart upgrades, balancing regulatory requirements with customer-friendly, granular opt-out choices. Shape both current and future-state execution strategies by reviewing end-to-end campaign processes and offering forward-looking recommendations (anticipating Phase 2 implications). Recommend best practices for seamless data exchange between Park Place and integrated ecosystems like Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe, LiveRamp, and third-party vendors. Drive the organization’s approach to leveraging both static and real-time data, ensuring real-time insights are fully utilized in campaign strategies. Challenge the team to avoid simply recreating internal systems, and identify areas where meaningful improvements and innovative solutions can be achieved.
