Marketing Manager
Evolv I.T., Birmingham, AL, United States
About Us
Evolv I.T. is a growing managed IT services provider based in Birmingham, AL, serving small and mid-size businesses across multiple industries. We also operate Evolv Tech Advisors (ETA), a technology advisor division where independent reps help businesses find the right internet, VoIP, SD-WAN, and cybersecurity solutions. We’re building something different — and we need a marketer who wants to build with us.
The Role
We’re hiring a Marketing Manager to own the entire marketing function across both divisions. We’ve already built out strong brand assets, campaign frameworks, and content libraries — now we need the right person to run with them. This isn’t a “post to social media and call it a day” role. You’ll execute campaigns, generate real leads, create content that actually converts, and have direct visibility into how your work drives revenue. If you’ve ever wanted to own the marketing function instead of being one cog in a 15‑person department, this is your opportunity.
What You’ll Do
Own all social media content creation and management across LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram
Build and optimize lead generation funnels, landing pages, and email nurture sequences
Run paid ad campaigns on Meta and Google with real budget and ROI accountability
Write compelling copy: emails, blog posts, one‑pagers, case studies, and sales collateral
Shoot and edit short‑form video content (reels, testimonials, behind‑the‑scenes)
Track KPIs weekly and present monthly performance reports directly to the CEO
Coordinate events, sponsorships, and local community marketing
Recruit technology advisor reps through targeted digital marketing campaigns
What We’re Looking For
2–4+ years of hands‑on marketing experience (B2B or tech industry preferred, not required)
You’ve run paid campaigns before and can talk about results, not just impressions
You can write. Not “I took a copywriting course” write — actually write. Clear, persuasive, human copy.
You’re comfortable on camera and can produce simple video content without a production team
You know your way around CRM/marketing tools (GoHighLevel, HubSpot, Mailchimp, or similar)
You can design basic graphics in Canva or Adobe Express that don’t look like clip art from 2006
You care about data: what’s working, what’s not, and what to try next
Compensation & Benefits
$60,000–$65,000 base salary depending on experience
Performance bonuses up to $18,000/year tied to lead generation and campaign results
Total on-target earnings: $78,000–$83,000 in year one
Health insurance, PTO, and standard benefits package
Direct access to the Leadership Team, your work gets seen, not buried
Opportunity to grow the marketing function and eventually build a team asMarketing scales
How to Apply
Apply with your resume and a brief portfolio (links to campaigns, content, or results you’re proud of). No cover letter needed, just show us what you’ve built.
