Options For All is seeking a design-focused Marketing Intern to support our Marketing & Communications team during the summer. This internship is designed for a creative individual who wants exposure to all areas of marketing while primarily focusing on visual design, layout, and creative production. The intern will work closely with the Marketing & Communications Manager and Marketing Coordinator on real, mission-driven projects used across social media, web, email, and events. This role offers hands‑on experience, mentorship, and portfolio‑ready work in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
This internship will start on June 1, 2026 and end on August 7, 2026.
This role requires the intern to work 100% onsite in our San Diego HQ. Housing assistance and stipends are not provided.

What you’ll be doing
Design & Creative
Design and refresh flyers, one‑pagers, and promotional materials for programs and events.
Create social media graphics and simple visual assets using Canva.
Adapt and resize designs for multiple platforms and formats.
Apply and maintain brand consistency across all materials.
Prepare files for digital and print use.
Refresh existing marketing assets using updated brand guidelines.
Marketing & Communications
Support social media content planning and scheduling.
Assist with drafting captions and campaign visuals.
Support website updates, including graphics and basic content placement.
Assist with email marketing visuals and formatting.
Help promote events, programs, and campaigns.
Support basic analytics tracking and performance recaps.
Flagship Internship Project
Auditing existing flyers across departments and programs.
Identifying outdated designs, messaging, and branding inconsistencies.
Refreshing flyers using current brand guidelines and approved templates.
Standardizing layouts, typography, and visual hierarchy.
Organizing final, approved assets in shared folders with clear naming conventions.
Creating reusable flyer templates to support future marketing needs.
What we’re looking for
Qualifications:
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Must pass a background check.
Education:
Current student or recent graduate Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Minimum 3.0 GPA.
Experience:
Familiarity with social media platforms and design format.
Adobe Creative Suite, basic video or motion design, Squarespace, Mailchimp or HTML/CSS (bonus but not required).
Skills:
Strong Canva skills required.
Interest in both design and marketing.
Familiarity with social media platforms and design formats.
Organized, detail‑oriented, and open to feedback.
This position requires the employee to regularly stand, walk, sit, talk and hear. They must be capable of writing, using a computer keyboard, telephone and related office equipment. Ability to lift 15lbs.
