About the Role

The Vehicles Brand Creative team is seeking a highly creative Brand Designer (Art Director) to join us for a 4-month contract. This hybrid role blends hands-on design with art direction, contributing to the creative vision across multiple iconic brands. You will collaborate closely with senior creatives, the Creative Director, marketing teams, external agencies, and vendors to bring brand storytelling to life across print, digital, social, retail, and experiential channels.

Key Responsibilities

Creative Development & Execution

  • Translate brand strategy and guidelines into compelling concepts and creative solutions.
  • Design and produce assets across print, digital, social, retail, and experiential channels.
  • Develop production-ready layouts with strong attention to typography, composition, and detail.
  • Prepare creative presentations, including mood boards, mockups, and decks.
  • Provide art direction and constructive feedback to external agencies and vendors under senior creative guidance.
  • Maintain a high standard of creative craftsmanship across all work.

Collaboration & Workflow

  • Partner with the Creative Director, Art Director, Copywriter, and Marketing teams to refine and execute ideas.
  • Incorporate stakeholder feedback efficiently and professionally.
  • Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Maintain organized files and adhere to production workflows for smooth handoffs and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

  • 4–6+ years of experience in brand or graphic design (agency or in-house preferred).
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating multi-channel brand execution.
  • Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other presentation tools.
  • Experience in both print and digital design; social or experiential design is a plus.
  • Familiarity with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Adobe Firefly) to support creative development.
  • Strong understanding of design fundamentals, typography, and layout.
  • Effective communicator with a collaborative mindset.
