Summary:
ALC is seeking Production Coordinator- Senior to coordinate various aspects of manufacturing.
This position will be responsible for tracking and Organizing deliverables needed for production.
Work alongside senior members of Production team across all functions and in assigned product categories from the beginning to the end of Pre-Production and Production cycle. This position is for on-site only.
The Ideal candidate is proactive, comfortable wearing many hats in a fast- paced production environment, collaborative team player, highly organized, self-motivated, and skilled at balancing multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
· Manage the end-to-end pre-production and production process across multiple RTW and /or assigned categories.
· Responsible for cost negotiations and pre-costing preview.
· Own weekly WIP update meetings. Collaborate to ensure visibility to seasonal calendar dates and approval status by maintaining accurate info in PDR and ERP.
· Understand and communicate any potential production issues with vendors and internal teams for prevention.
· Review seasonal raw material selections and manage pre-production processes to secure production flow.
· Manage assigned product categories production to ensure products are compliance and on time delivery.
· Build strong partnerships with venders and communicate daily to ensure smooth production flow.
· Maintain accurate info to be updated, keep accurate records and files in our corporate system.
· Track and reconcile non-compliance/ claims charge backs with venders where appropriate.
· Review and reconcile any shipment overage/shortage from vendor to avoid unwanted inventory
· Take initiative beyond basic responsibilities
Requirements:
· Strong attention to detail and the ability to anticipate production needs
· Exceptional organization and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and a fast paced environment
· Proficiency in planning tools (ex: excel, smart sheet)
· Excellent international communication skills in written and verbal
· Bachelor’s or Fashion School degree preferred
· Minimum 3 years’ experience in Production, Designer RTW & Knit/Sweater Production experience is a plus
