Senior Director of Operations

As Senior Director of Operations you will oversee one of the largest and most complex manufacturing facilities in the country—while also playing a key role in the development of a new, highly automated plant over the next several years. This is a high-visibility leadership role with executive exposure, significant operational scope, and the opportunity to shape the future of a growing operation.
Location: Sioux Falls, South Dakota (Comprehensive relocation package available) Must be U.S. Citizen OR Green Card Holder. Sponsorship is not available at this time

What you’ll be responsible for: • Leading operations for a large-scale plant (~3,000+ employees) • Overseeing performance across multiple facilities initially • Driving efficiencies, cost control, yields, and overall plant performance • Partnering cross-functionally across production, supply chain, engineering, and finance • Playing a key role in a major new plant build and automation initiative
What we’re looking for: • Extensive leadership experience in meat processing (beef and/or pork REQUIRED) • Direct experience with harvest/kill floor operations • Background across both fresh and further processed/packaged products • Proven success leading large-scale manufacturing operations • Experience overseeing complex teams and driving operational excellence
Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field (or equivalent experience) 12+ years of progressive leadership experience within manufacturing operations (meat processing strongly preferred) Proven leadership experience managing and developing large teams (5+ years minimum) Deep understanding of end-to-end operations within a food manufacturing environment, including production, procurement, engineering, and supply chain
