Role Overview We are seeking a Senior Electrical Designer to support capital project work with a strong emphasis on instrumentation and low-voltage electrical systems (120–220V and below). This role is ideal for an experienced designer who can work independently, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and deliver high-quality electrical and instrumentation design packages throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities Develop detailed electrical and instrumentation design deliverables for capital projects Produce and revise design documents, including: Instrumentation layouts Wiring diagrams and schematics Cable schedules and termination drawings Support equipment layout development and 3D model coordination Interface with engineering, project management, and construction teams Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and project specifications Participate in design reviews and efficiently incorporate feedback Support field changes and as-built documentation as required
Required Experience & Qualifications Senior-level experience in electrical design, preferably on capital projects Strong background in instrumentation and low-voltage electrical systems (120–220V and below) Proficiency with: AutoCAD AVEVA / InTools (Invivo) PDMS Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality documentation Excellent communication and coordination skills
