The Event Manager II is the primary client point of contact for assigned meetings and events onsite at the client's campus. Manages meetings and events through the implementation of strategy, delivery of objectives and execution of logistics, while effectively working with clients. Responsible for coordination of all program planning, while providing unparalleled levels of customer service on all events. Works closely with clients to understand and meet program objectives/outcomes.
What You'll Be Doing Serve as the primary point of contact for event hosts, providing consultative planning support throughout the event lifecycle.
Collaborate closely with service partners including Catering, Facilities, Technology & AV, Executive Production, Security, Transportation, and Janitorial to deliver comprehensive event services.
Outline event deliverables and develop project timelines, event workbooks, and communication plans.
Coordinate and attend site inspections; ensure all event details are handled accurately and on schedule.
Maintain proactive, positive communication with clients and lead regular status meetings during the planning phase.
Track event communications and document changes within the event management system.
Partner with Onsite Event Specialists by providing clear direction on client expectations and reviewing event logistics.
Schedule and lead precon meetings; periodically inspect event spaces and setups to ensure services are delivered as planned.
What You'll Bring Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
2-4 years of experience in meeting or event planning, hotel catering, convention services, or related sales roles.
Strong knowledge of program and event management, including budget maintenance and exposure to project planning or forecasting.
Proven success in developing and maintaining strong client relationships.
Ability to manage multiple projects and thrive in a fastpaced, changing environment.
Professional written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in G Suite, with the ability to learn new technologies quickly.
Nice To Have CMP designation.
Experience supporting complex or multisite events.
Working Logistics & Things You Should Know This is an
Onsite
role, based on business and event needs.
Travel Required:

required.
Compensation range for this position is
$80,000 - $90,000,
determined based on experience and qualifications. Compensation for internal candidates will be reviewed in accordance with our internal compensation practices.
