Job Description: As a Purchasing Agent at TAG, you will play a pivotal role in helping manage our procurement processes and ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods. Working closely with the Buyer your responsibilities will include: Responsibilities: Vendor Management:

Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure advantageous terms and pricing on raw materials used in manufacturing process. Inventory Control:

Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and reorder points to prevent stockouts or excess inventory. Cost Analysis:

Analyze supplier proposals, review pricing trends, and assess supplier performance to optimize procurement strategies. Order Processing:

Create purchase orders, monitor order status, and coordinate with various departments to ensure on-time delivery of goods. Quality Assurance:

Collaborate with quality control teams to ensure that purchased items meet the required standards. Budget Management:

Work closely with finance teams to manage budgets and control costs while maintaining quality standards. Compliance:

Stay up to date with relevant laws and regulations governing procurement and ensure company compliance. Qualifications: Associate degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred). Proven experience as a Purchasing Agent or in a similar role. Strong negotiation and communication skills. Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of industry trends and supply chain management best practices. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
