Role Overview
The System Integration Engineer for the Salesforce platform is responsible for translating business strategies and capability requirements into scalable, secure, and reusable Salesforce solutions across multiple agencies. This role defines end-to-end solution architecture, ensures alignment with Salesforce CoE guardrails, and provides technical leadership to delivery teams implementing case management, citizen engagement, and AI-driven analytics solutions.
Key Responsibilities Define full solution architecture blueprints including business processes, integration, data, security, and system components. Design multi-cloud Salesforce solutions aligned with enterprise and agency strategies. Leverage Salesforce capabilities including Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, OmniStudio, Data Cloud, MuleSoft, Agentforce, and Tableau. Define system boundaries, architectural guardrails, data models, integration patterns, and environment strategies. Extend Public Sector Salesforce solutions and data models to meet agency-specific requirements. Design reusable, multi-agency solution patterns such as intake workflows, portals, and omni-channel engagement. Ensure agency use cases (e.g., child welfare, licensing, investigations) align with standardized Salesforce accelerators rather than custom silos. Architect data flows and enable cross-agency analytics and reporting. Provide technical leadership and guidance to solution teams. Mandatory Qualifications
Level II:
More than
7 years
of experience working on complex IT projects, including
at least 2 years
in a leadership role as a System Integration Engineer. More than
7 years
of Salesforce architecture and solution design experience. Minimum
3 years
of hands-on experience with Salesforce Service Cloud and CRM. Desirable Qualifications
2+ years of experience with Salesforce integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and MuleSoft. 2+ years of experience designing large-scale, multi-org or multi-tenant Salesforce solutions. Salesforce Certified Application Architect. 1+ year of experience with Salesforce Shield, encryption, and platform security. 1+ year of experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
