SAP GTS Consultant (HANA Upgrade)

JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking an experienced SAP GTS Consultant with strong expertise in HANA upgrade projects to support upgrade, remediation, and implementation activities within SAP Global Trade Services. The candidate will analyze upgrade impacts, align solutions with S/4HANA simplifications, and ensure compliance, customs documentation, and foreign trade process readiness.
Key Responsibilities: Analyze upgrade impact on SAP GTS processes and interfaces. Remediate deprecated functionalities and align with S/4HANA simplifications. Prepare and execute test cases for foreign trade processes. Define and execute cutover activities for GTS workstream. Ensure readiness of compliance checks and customs documentation. Design, configure, and implement SAP GTS processes from order creation to final payment. Gather business requirements and translate them into functional and technical solutions. Develop functional specifications for reports, interfaces, enhancements, workflows, and forms. Create detailed project documentation and functional design documents. Support unit, integration, and UAT testing phases. Troubleshoot critical production issues within SAP GTS. Provide end-user training and ongoing functional support. Drive Agile project execution and stakeholder alignment. Required Skills & Experience:
Deep hands-on expertise in SAP Global Trade Services (SAP GTS). Strong experience in HANA upgrade version projects. Experience with SAP HANA Cloud Integration (HCI). Strong understanding of foreign trade, compliance, and customs processes. Ability to analyze root causes and recommend effective solutions. Strong experience creating functional specifications and project documentation. Ability to independently work with stakeholders and drive business decisions. Experience working in Agile project development environments. Competencies:
Strong stakeholder communication skills. Decision-making capability in Agile projects. Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability. Strong documentation and compliance orientation. Ability to align SAP solutions with enterprise business strategies. Preferred Skills:
