
Mortgage Loan Officer | Mortgage Sales Specialist

Job Overview:
Handle inbound and outbound calls in a call center environment.
Assist new and existing clients with home purchases, refinancing, or home equity loans.
Analyze financial goals and recommend the best lending solutions.
Submit mortgage applications and help clients gather required documents.
Keep clients informed throughout the loan process.
Position requires SAFE Act registration and maintaining good standing with the federal registry system.
Responsibilities:
Provide excellent client care. Communicate with clients and business partners by phone, email, and messaging. Use multiple systems to assist clients and referral partners. Follow established lending policies and processes. Identify opportunities to recommend additional products or services. Work as part of a team to deliver outstanding service.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year of sales and mortgage experience. High School Diploma or GED required. Strong customer service and relationship-building skills. Ability to actively listen and identify client needs. Skilled in suggesting and promoting products or services. Ability to learn and use multiple technology platforms. Strong written, verbal, and non-verbal communication skills. Able to manage the full client loan process and resolve issues. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks. Adaptable, flexible, and comfortable with change. Strong sales performance history. Willing to work weekends and extended hours as needed. Professional and confident when speaking with clients over the phone. Ability to balance performance, compliance, and client service. Commitment to ethical standards and compliance with federal and state policies.
Desired Qualifications:
Contact center experience. Knowledge of loan products: Conventional, Jumbo, Government, FHA, HUD. Familiarity with underwriting, closing, and federal lending regulations. Ability to analyze credit and financial data to advise clients. Strong consultative skills and ability to ask the right questions.

Work Schedule & Training:
Regular schedule: Monday Friday, 10 AM 7 PM (Eastern). Rotating Saturdays: 8 AM 3:30 PM. Training: Monday Friday, 8 AM 5 PM (approx. 8 weeks). Training is 100% in-office, no time off allowed. Post-training: Hybrid with 5 in-office days per month.
Compensation & Benefits:
