Washington Trust is looking for a dynamic experienced Commercial Real Estate Lender with a focus on the Connecticut Market to join our CRE lending team. This position will become part of a collaborative, results oriented team focused on providing commercial real estate lending products and services to new and existing customers of The Washington Trust Company.
We offer a hybrid work schedule with on-site work in our New Haven and Westerly, RI offices.
Responsibilities:
Develop and service a growing commercial real estate loan portfolio by establishing and supporting a robust calling plan.
Maintain relationships with existing customers, prospects, and referral sources to achieve loan and deposit production goals while ensuring compliance with credit policies and procedures and established standards.
Position requirements :
7+ years of commercial real estate lending experience with an established network of customers and referral sources to include construction and permanent loans
Comprehensive understanding of commercial real estate, knowledge in various real estate asset classes and market conditions
Possesssuperior credit,customer service and negotiation skills as well ashaving a strong generalbank product and services knowledge
Experience building relationships through networking and proven high customer service standards
Strong business writing and professional communication skills required
Ability to work well within a team environment
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or related field or relevant experience
Compensation: A good‑faith, reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is $175,000 - $220,000 per year and the actual offer will depend on factors such as experience, skills, training, certifications, and education.
This base salary reflects one component of our competitive compensation package. This position may be eligible for an annual bonus and includes a comprehensive benefits package.
