Sales Director, Special Mission Aircraft Connectivity

This role is responsible for driving sales and business development in the United States for advanced connectivity solutions designed for Special Mission Aircraft. The Sales Director will focus on building strategic customer relationships across Government and Military aviation, developing innovative proposals, and executing a targeted go-to-market strategy. This position combines entrepreneurial drive with technical understanding of satellite communications, airborne ISR, and mission-critical aircraft systems. You will collaborate closely with pre-sales, engineering, and marketing teams to capture new business, increase market awareness, and ensure consistent delivery of high-value solutions. The role requires strong leadership, independence, and a proven track record in B2G or specialized aerospace sales, with significant travel to engage customers and partners. This position offers the chance to influence growth in a rapidly evolving, mission-critical aerospace domain. Accountabilities:

Develop and execute a go-to-market plan for Special Mission Aircraft connectivity solutions across the United States Build and manage a robust sales pipeline, driving new business opportunities and achieving financial targets Conduct on-site demonstrations and technical briefings in partnership with pre-sales and engineering teams Create compelling commercial proposals, leveraging technical expertise and entrepreneurial creativity Represent the organization at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to grow market awareness and networks Collaborate with internal teams (Engineering, Pricing, Marketing) to develop innovative solutions for customer needs Maintain CRM data and provide accurate and timely reporting on pipeline, opportunities, and sales metrics Requirements:

712 years of B2B or B2G sales experience, ideally in avionics, aerospace, or related high-technology domains 57 years of experience with Special Mission Aircraft platforms, including ISR, MEDEVAC, SAR, or firefighting missions Ability to travel up to 50% of the time to support customer engagements Proven relationship-building and networking skills, both internally and externally Strong commercial acumen, proposal writing, and negotiation skills Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation capabilities Strategic thinking and tactical execution to achieve near-term and long-term business goals Preferred: existing industry contacts, military or government experience, familiarity with SATCOM and aircraft modification processes Benefits:
